My Story

The Courting Club was born from a personal truth:
connection in midlife deserves gentleness, dignity, and a space that feels truly human.

Like many people between 45 and 65, I found myself rediscovering who I was, what I wanted, and what companionship meant in this new chapter of life. During that journey, I realised how overwhelming, noisy and impersonal modern dating can feel — especially for those of us who value sincerity, depth and emotional maturity.

As a holistic consultant who cares deeply about wellbeing, I kept hearing the same stories from people in this stage of life:

• “I want connection, but not through apps.”

• “I want real conversation, not swiping.”

• “I want something slow, calm and meaningful.”

And I felt that too.

We needed a place where people could meet with kindness, calmness, and authenticity.
A place where introductions feel thoughtful, not transactional.
A place where you can arrive a little nervous and still feel welcomed, safe, and seen.

So I created The Courting Club —
a gentle, elegant, hosted social club for single adults aged 45–65
who want connection without overwhelm.

Here, you don’t need to perform, impress or compete.
You simply show up as you are —
and let conversation and chemistry unfold at a human pace.
